We’re obsessed with cucumber salads because they’re perfect for summer. That’s why we had to tell you about TikTok’s latest viral recipe! It’s a quick cucumber salad that’s bound to keep you cool this summer.

How to Make This 5-Minute Cucumber Salad

This recipe comes from Yumna Juwad, aka @feelgoodfoodie on TikTok. Her video has been watched nearly 2 million times so far!

Ingredients

  • 2 English cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

Step 1: Slice your cucumbers

For this particular recipe, you’ll want very thin slices of cucumber. In her TikTok video, Yumna uses a vegetable peeler for this, which is genius! Take your cucumber and thinly slice until finished. Set aside.

Step 2: Make your dressing

Combine sour cream, red wine vinegar, sugar, garlic powder and fresh dill in a medium bowl. Whisk all ingredients until thoroughly mixed.

Step 3: Add your vegetables

Place your slices of cucumber directly into the bowl of dressing. Then, using your vegetable peeler, slice a few pieces of red onion right into the cucumbers. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix together and enjoy!

You can eat this quick cucumber salad alone or as a side dish. It would pair well with a grilled dish like these spicy chicken kabobs. However you slice it, we just know you’re going to love it!
