Hold the steak, hold the loaded baked potato and hold the Cactus Blossom. The real reason we go to Texas Roadhouse is for their fresh rolls and creamy whipped Texas Roadhouse butter.
Why Texas Roadhouse only serves four dinner rolls with their famous cinnamon honey butter is beyond us. It never lasts more than 5 seconds on a table. While the rolls are good on their own, it’s the whipped butter infused with the perfect balance of cinnamon and honey that takes these pillowy orbs of carb heaven to the next level. Luckily, you can now bring a little smear of Texas butter bliss into your kitchen.
Of course, it’s important to use good butter, so pick up one of our favorite butter brands before you start.
How to Make Texas Roadhouse Butter
This recipe yields about 1/2 cup of butter.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons whole milk
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1-1/2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt (a pinch)
Directions
Step 1: Whip the butter
Place the softened butter, powdered sugar and milk in a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment. Whip on low speed for 2-3 minutes, or until the butter is light and fluffy.
Editor’s Tip: If you don’t own a stand mixer, you can also use a medium bowl with a handheld electric mixer.
Step 2: Mix
Add the remaining ingredients and beat on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the ingredients are well blended.
Step 3: Spread
Transfer to a small bowl or ramekin for serving—preferably alongside one of these copycat restaurant bread recipes.
