Chocolate-Dipped Caramel Apple Slices

Ingredients

  • 2 large tart apples
  • 8 wooden pop sticks or lollipop sticks
  • 4 ounces semisweet chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup Kraft caramel bits
  • 2 teaspoons 2% milk
  • 1 ounce white baking chocolate, melted
  • Optional toppings: Chopped salted peanuts, miniature pretzels, sprinkles and candies of your choice

Directions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment; set aside. Wash and thoroughly dry apples; core. Slice across the apple perpendicular to the hollow of the core into 1/2-in. thick slices. Insert pop sticks into slices; pat dry.
  2. Dip each apple slice in chocolate, allowing excess to drip off. Place on prepared pan. Refrigerate until set.
  3. In a microwave, melt caramel bits and milk; stir until smooth. Drizzle over pops. Drizzle with white chocolate. Immediately decorate with toppings as desired, pressing lightly to adhere; refrigerate until set. Store in the refrigerator up to 1 day.
