Burrata Salad Tips
Can you use different greens to make burrata salad?
Yes! Replace some or all of the arugula with other leafy greens and
common lettuce varieties, including watercress, frisée, baby spinach or even good ol’ romaine. No matter what type you use, be sure to
wash salad greens properly before eating.
Should you serve burrata cold or at room temperature?
Burrata is an Italian cheese made from cow’s milk. The outer shell is smooth and chewy, while the inside is soft and gooey. Because cold temps mute the flavors of cheese, it's best to enjoy burrata at room temperature. Simply remove it from the fridge 30 minutes before serving.
What else can you put in a burrata salad?
There are many ways you can
make a salad with burrata. For example, toss in some fresh berries, chopped walnuts, diced tomatoes or a few croutons. Or make it meal by topping servings with grilled chicken, shrimp or salmon.
